Blogging Blues

I am Nancy, a tech enthusiast and freelance blogger by profession. I enjoy researching and writing about the latest gadgets that hit the market, which is what led me to this blog.

Okay, so you thought that blogging would help to bring a steady flow of relevant traffic to your business website, well how did that work out for you in the end? Because this strategy certainly can be very useful for achieving that objective, but only if you work within a certain set of rules from the outset. You see, not everyone has their blog set up correctly and that is why so many bloggers’ efforts never really hit those dizzy heights. So if you have all but given up on using your micro diary to help your business attract customers, perhaps this article will help you do just that. We have outlined some of the most damaging mistakes that bloggers tend to make, and we’ve offered a reason and an alternative on each of these pitfalls. Please take a look and hopefully you’ll soon be blogging away like a real pro once more!

Blogging Blues

Make Them Count!

As long as your content is fresh and engaging, your visitors will always be coming back for a second helping. But please avoid the temptation to dilute your quality with meaningless articles. Nobody has the time or inclination to wade through a thousand words of drivel just to read a punchline they forgot years ago. Try and reach for the stars on each post and you should be getting somewhere near your goal.

Be Brave

Try to shoot from the hip and make your posting a little more leftfield than the generic fodder that is usually the norm. You can pick a popular trend and as long as you add a wicked spin into the mix, nobody will mind reading your posts. Instead of writing for a billion readers, try to entertain twenty or thirty who really matter. This small group will soon be sharing your pearls of wisdom and before you know it, your blog will really rock!

Get Out There!

Once your blog is published, why wait for people to accidentally find your good stuff? You can reach out in many ways and you probably already know some of them. Leverage your social media profile connections and start writing guest posts for meaningful 3rd party blogs. Otherwise you could be writing for an audience of one for the foreseeable future, if you don’t count the tumbleweeds!

Mix it Up!

Try and get in with the crowd of people who you admire, and see if they can add value to your cause. You may both be experts on separate topics, but together you could be far more inspirational. Get on Twitter and see what you can add to someone’s Tweets. The chances are that their followers may have an interest in your own blog and before you know it, you’ve gone viral! If you are all about marketing Woodstock Coach Mini Coach School Bus Rental and decide to go further afield, just remember to always use your brand to represent your ideas and you will always be adding value to your business in a very cool and productive manner!

Seen Enough?

We’ve offered a bunch of ways to stop those bloopersin their tracks, so get out there and put it all right! Your blog will soon be a force to be reckoned with once more!
