Perhaps the most attractive aspect of this phone is its ultra slim outfit. The device is just 136g and it feels extremely light to carry around. Most of the hardware present in other Xperia phones is also present in the Mini Pro, despite its small size.
The phone uses an Android operating system, the v-2.3. However, this can easily be upgraded to v-4.0 for users who need an advanced OS. The phone also houses a 1 GHz Scorpion processor that is relatively powerful, in comparison to its net weight. Another amazing feature is the Adreno 205 Graphic Processing Unit that works extremely fast in creating images for display. In addition to this, the phone features an internal RAM of 512 MB plus storage space of up to 400 MB, which can be conveniently increased to 32 GB.
Many Xperia Mini Pro phones are capable of supporting the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. This was made possible earlier in 2012, and it was a major victory for the company. Admittedly, a good number of Sony competitors have unsuccessfully tried to implement this capability. Users can conveniently switch to the Cream Sandwich upgrade. All you need is a PC and the Sony PC Companion Software. Simply connect the device to a PC and install the Android 4.0 using the Companion software.
